The School of Cyber Defense at GISEC GLOBAL is a premier student-focused Capture-the-Flag (CTF) competition organized by the Dubai Electronic Security Center (DESC) in collaboration with ICD and key industry sponsors. The competition brings together talented university students from across the UAE to tackle real-world cybersecurity challenges, testing their skills in ethical hacking, digital forensics, incident response, and threat analysis. Featuring online qualifiers followed by an on-site final at GISEC, participants compete for recognition, mentorship opportunities, and prizes worth up to AED 50,000. Beyond a contest, the School of Cyber Defense serves as a launchpad for emerging cyber talent, empowering young minds to develop practical expertise and gain visibility among top cybersecurity organizations.
