Etihad Water and Electricity (EtihadWE) delivers essential electricity and water services across the Northern Emirates. Established in 2020 under Federal Decree-Law No. (31), the company continues the legacy of the Federal Electricity & Water Authority with a mission to empower communities and enable sustainable growth. Fully owned by the Emirates Investment Authority, EtihadWE serves around 2 million people through a resilient network of over 15,000 km of power lines and 8,000 km of water pipelines, supported by a storage capacity exceeding 600 million gallons. Through landmark projects like the Naqa’a RO Plant and the Distributed Solar System initiative, EtihadWE is advancing the UAE’s clean energy vision while enhancing customer experience and service reliability.
